Level II Trauma Center PA or NP
A role where you will make a difference every single shift.
This is not a desk job with occasional patient contact. You are in the trauma bay evaluating injuries, scrubbed in the OR assisting on complex fracture cases, and rounding on patients throughout their recovery. You will collaborate daily with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, nursing, and rehab teams — and you will see the difference you make, every day. Shifts per year — rotating schedule
A mix of weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage — consistent volume with structure you can plan around. At $630 per shift or $115,000 annually, your time is valued at every level.
What you will do
  • Evaluate and manage orthopedic trauma patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting
  • Round on hospitalized patients and provide daily inpatient management
  • Assist orthopedic trauma surgeons in the operating room
  • Perform post-operative care, dressing changes, splinting, casting, and fracture management within scope of practice
  • Coordinate patient discharges and follow-up care planning
  • Document encounters and communicate treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
What you bring
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current or eligible Arizona PA or NP license
  • NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification
  • Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges
  • Orthopedic, trauma, surgery, or emergency medicine experience preferred
  • Operating room experience preferred
